The Harvester Swindon was a brown field site on a Retail Park. Being a brown field site, the ground conditions required stabilization in the form of Vibro compaction stone column compacted piles in various locations across the site. Once installed and tested the ring beam was cast and beam & block floors installed. The steel structural frame similar to Cardiff Bay Harvester was erected to allow an external cladding façade consisting of composite panel, glazing and cedar panelling to complement the unique curved profile aluminium roofing system. The project was handed back to the client by G.Oakley and Sons Ltd on programme and with zero defects.
