“Our client Greene King purchased a brown field site off Tramway Road, Brislington, Bristol. We were appointed as turnkey contractor utilising all our in house departments; (construction/joinery/ mechanical/electrical). The build consisted of traditional strip foundations, reinforced precast concrete floor and traditional brick/ block walls with supporting steel work. Whilst undertaking the build we carried out off site sewer and utility upgrades across Bath Road which is the main connecting road to Bristol, without any issues. The project also required various BREEAM elements involving specialist measuring and installation of integral tile and panel solar harvesting plant. Construction was carried out as programme on a very restricted site in a residential noise controlled suburban area of Bristol.
